Hypedomes are engineered to withstand difficult weather conditions, including violent winds, frequent snowfalls, torrential rains and long-term sun exposure. They are also hail proof.

They work in all temperature ranges and can be built in spaces exposed to strong sustained winds, as long as they are properly anchored to the ground (we offer an all-surface anchoring kit and heavy-duty anchoring for extra windy locations is available too).

Yes, Hypedomes are designed for a year-round exposure to the elements. All polycarbonate elements are both sides UV-protected, meaning that they will not change their appearance due to long-term sun exposure. As long as it is properly anchored to the ground, there’s no need to take the Hypedome down when not in use.

In standard, Hypedome comes with a set of deck screws to anchor the dome to wooden or composite decking. It can also be ordered with steel stakes for anchoring directly to the ground like soil, grass, gravel, or sand.

Additionally, we also offer a Heavy Duty Anchoring Kit – recommended if you plan to use a Hypedome in the area exposed to frequent strong winds. Both these anchoring types can be ordered as an add-on.

We currently offer three dome sizes:
Hypedome Mini (⌀ 3m / 9.85 ft), Hypedome S (⌀ 3.5m / 11.5 ft), Hypedome M  (⌀ 4.6m / 15 ft).

Hypedome Mini
Hypedome Mini can be a perfect indoor-outdoor space for a couple. It’s best suited for 2 – 4 people seated on sofas and armchairs or for 2 – 4 people seated at the round or rectangular table. 

Hypedome S
Hypedome S is a versatile choice, offering enough space to invite friends and family. Can comfortably take 6 – 8 people seated on sofas and armchairs, depending on the furniture layout. It can also accommodate 6 to 8 people seated at the round or rectangular table.

Hypedome M
Hypedome M is a great choice for the creation of larger lounge spaces. It can comfortably accommodate 10 – 12 people seated on sofas and armchairs, depending on the furniture layout. It can also comfortably take 12 to 14 people seated at the round or rectangular tables.

Yes, all Hypedomes come in standard with rollable, transparent membrane doors with two industrial-grade zips on the sides. You can easily roll it up / down to open and close the door.

Yes, Hypedomes can be heated or air-conditioned. Many of our customers use electric fan heaters or electric radiators inside their Hypedomes to warm them up quickly on cold days.

Hypedomes can be also equipped with a stand-alone A/C unit to cool down the interior on hot days. For more recommendations on climate control solutions, please contact our expert.

Yes, each Hypedome comes with one openable window panel built-on. Up to five window panels in total can be added to your Hypedome, greatly improving air circulation inside the dome.

They can be ordered together with the dome or easily retrofitted at a later stage. 

Yes, we offer a Soft Floor Membrane add-on, that protects the dome’s interior from moisture. It works best when building the dome on existing hard-surfaces such as wooden decking or concrete/stone patio, but it can be also put directly on grass/soil.

We recommend finishing the soft floor with additional floor covering, such as coir matt, vinyl floor or carpet, to make the interior feel cosy.

Yes, we offer a bespoke Sun Shade Sail than can be quickly attached inside the dome with the built-in snap on/snap-off magnetic system.

Yes, all our add-ons are designed for easy retrofitting.

Yes, building a Hypedome is quite straightforward with our friendly, step-by-step assembly manual and short instructional videos.

Assembly of the Hypedome S and Hypedome Mini requires two people and takes 4 – 6 hours to complete. All tools and manuals are provided together with the kit. We recommend using a step stool or a small A-shaped ladder to install the very top panels. Hypedome M takes about 8 – 10 hours to build.

Yes, Hypedome can be easily dismantled, stored in provided boxes and built again in the future. We recommend cleaning the dome and letting it dry before dismantling it. And it’s worth to know that Hypedomes can stay up all year round for many years – there’s usually no need to take them down.

Planning permission or other building permits are generally not required to build a Hypedome for individual purposes. Hypedome’s limited footprint, lack of permanent foundation, height below 2.5m (< 8.2 ft) and the overall design that blends with the surroundings, usually qualify it as a temporary structure, not requiring planning permission.

Different rules may apply in different countries and regions. For example, in the UK Hypedomes may be considered as outbuildings, same as other small structures such as greenhouses or garden sheds. Outbuildings are permitted development which means they, in general, do not require an application for planning permission.

Again, different rules may apply if you plan to use your Hypedome as commercial temporary accommodation space. If you’re in doubt about specific regulations in your area, we advise you to refer to your local building regulations resources or contact local authorities for clarification. All the information contained on this website should be treated as a guideline and not legal advice.

Hypedomes can be easily cleaned with water or a mild detergent. In most cases using hose water is enough. For dirt difficult to remove or bird droppings you can use the cleaning kit provided. It’s also possible to powerwash Hypedome’s polycarbonate elements and it’s often the quickest way to remove stubborn dirt.

Hypedomes require minimum maintenance to keep them in a great shape for many years to come. Our guidelines on how to care for your dome are part of the User Guide that comes with every Hypedome.

All Hypedomes are covered with a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defects. The expected lifespan of the Hypedome is at least 15 years.

Additionally, warranty on polycarbonate panels of the dome can be extended to the total of 3-years upon registering your dome with us after it is assembled.

Yes, if required we offer spare parts such as individual panels or accessories at affordable prices. However, because Hypedomes are very durable, spare parts are rarely needed. 

We offer a 30 days satisfaction guarantee – meaning that if you’re not happy with your Hypedome and decide to return it within 30 days of delivery, we will give you a full refund of your purchase.

All domes Hypedomes are designed and manufactured in the European Union. We are a company registered in Stettin, Poland, very close to the German border and about 1.5 hours away from Berlin.

For production we only use the highest quality materials from suppliers from within the European Union. All our domes have structural calculations carried out by German engineering office and in compliance with EU and German building norms for this kind of structures. 

Our standard delivery times:

• up to 7 days anywhere in the EU for Clear domes (all sizes)
• up to 14 days anywhere in the EU for Grey domes (all sizes)

Yes, we offer financing options through Klarna, starting at €87 per month (for the Hypedome Mini Clear). Installment payments from 6 to 36 months or payment with a delay of 30 days are possible. To calculate the installment amount, add products to the basket and go to Checkout. In the last payment step, you can choose to pay by Klarna.

All domes are manufactured and shipped from within the European Union. There are no extra taxes or customs duties applied to customers located in any of the EU countries.

A single Hypedome is delivered to your doorstep by a courier service in several boxes that are easy to lift by one person. It’s securely packaged in our bespoke, hexagonal cardboard boxes that can be used to safely store the dome if you would ever need to dismantle it. Hypedome takes very little storage space: approx. 100 cm x 80 cm x 60 cm. 

Multiple Hypedomes are delivered to your door-step on a standard-size wooden pallet. They can be then easily split into several, separate boxes that are easy to handle by one person.

Yes, we design and manufacture all Hypedomes products and accessories to have minimum impact on the environment.

• Our main raw material, solid polycarbonate, is very long-lasting. This means that Hypedome’s life expectancy is at least 15 years, thus, minimising the need to replace it with another product and minimising waste.

• Hypedomes are modular, built from several compact pieces, which makes it easy to repair or replace damaged parts (although rarely needed as Hypedome is really durable). This modular approach means that we can further reduce unnecessary waste. 

• Polycarbonate is also fully recyclable and on top of that, we also start our own upcycling program where some used Hypedomes will get their second life as community gardens greenhouses.
